Presenting and Communicating Research

This interdisciplinary course examines effective options for presenting and communicating research to audiences of different backgrounds, needs, interests, and values. Examples and case studies from different disciplines are selected to illustrate best practices. Consideration is given to the theoretical and applied aspects of effective communication using media, from graphics and print to oral presentations. PREREQ: 30 university credits. (lec 3) cr 3.
